Wild Atlantic Words festival: Monday, 7th – Sunday, 13th October 2024
Our 2024 festival features:
Sally Rooney (fully booked – waiting list in operation), Isabela Basombrío Hoban, Patrick Butler, Cormac O’Malley, Alice Kinsella, Daniel Wade, Ken Armstrong, Hayley Kilgallon, Kevin McDonald, Brigid O’Hora, Edwin McGreal, Aidan O’Shea, George Hamilton, John Healy, Geraldine Lavelle, Tom Rowley, Ray Lawlor and many more!
LOCATION: All of this year’s events will take place in the Festival Dome at Bridge Lane, Castlebar, Co. Mayo, F23 PN20 (behind Bridge St bar), apart from the ‘Old Castlebar’ photography exhibition, which is taking place at Mayo County Library, Castlebar and runs for the month of October.
*Booking info: With the exception of Friday night (when pre-booking is essential), all events at this year’s festival are on a first come, first served basis. The Festival Dome is heated, however, we recommend wrapping up warmly. All events are free of charge.
